Conigital Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Coventry

Conigital, reached a major milestone by opening new offices in Coventry Techno Park in partnership with Coventry University and ran an official ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitary, shareholders, stakeholders and investors. Conigital showed demonstrations of their technology, an office tour and hosting a drinks reception. The opening is a result of demand for more workspace for automating and testing a wider range range of vehicles including EV’s and Hydrogen fuel cell and working with Coventry universities, Centre for Autonomous Automotive Research (CAAR). With over 40 employees working in Conigital projects across the world, Conigital is growing fast and adding more talented people to the team every day.   The company has been working on testing its technology, supported by government grants from bodies including Innovate UK  and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, as well as seed funding from angels and other private investors, and commercial contracts.  “I very much believe that they will make a difference, not only economically creating jobs in the UK but also societal benefits for accessibility,” said Robert Vermeer, Programme Manager – Autonomous and Connected Vehicles, Innovate UK.  Dr Shan Rajgopal from Aston University remarked, “I enjoy the people and the company, I think the way they are looking towards success, I am very confident of their future success. I think the potential is phenomenal in this project.”  Councillor Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs and Regeneration and Climate Change performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony, as the chief guest. The opening of the new office will open doors to more opportunities for the people of the UK.
